LEN-cup 2016-1 2# Madeira Island International Swim Marathon, Quinta Calaça-Madeira, Portugal

De eerste LEN-cup mee tellend voor 2016 is reeds gehouden op het mooie Portugese eiland Madeira.

Er deden slechts 12 mannen en 5 vrouwen mee, maar geen Nederlanders.

Dit was een gemiste kans om makkelijke punten te scoren.

The 2016 season of the LEN European Open Water Swimming Cup has already kicked off with a competition staged before the beginning of the calendar year. The beautiful island of Madeira was the location, nearby the city of Funchal – birthplace of the Portugal football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo – where the 10km race took place.
