Dive into Excitement: Woerthersee Swim Updates!

Today, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your participation in the Woerthersee Swim over the past seven years! This event has grown beautifully, and it’s been an absolute joy welcoming swimmers from around the globe to Lake Woerthersee each year.

But as life is a rollercoaster, 2025 will bring exciting changes to Woerthersee Swim!

We’re thrilled to announce that our new home will be the stunning Klagenfurt Strandbad Maiernigg. Nestled in a picturesque bay on the south side of Lake Woerthersee, this venue boasts top-tier infrastructure, including its own restaurant, ample parking, and unmatched comfort. It’s truly one of the most beautiful spots on the lake, and we can’t wait for you to experience it!

Here’s another splash-worthy update: Starting in 2025, all participants will receive free entry to the Lido in Maiernigg! Only accompanying persons will need to pay the regular entrance fee.

Additionally, we’re bringing all of our events to this incredible new location:

  • Woerthersee Night Swim: July 12, 2025
  • Woerthersee Swim Austria: September 5–6, 2025
  • Woerthersee Swim Ice: February 7, 2026
