GBR: Thames Marathon 2026

The iconic Henley Swim open water swim series will be returning in 2026, under the new stewardship of UK-based events company krono:sports

krono:sports has a strong track record of delivering unique mass participation events both in the UK and internationally. We are committed to maintaining the strong brand heritage and continuing to offer the world-class experience that has defined Henley Swim for the past 20 years. We are excited and privileged to have the chance to keep these events alive.

In 2026 we will be focusing on the Henley Classic, the Club to Pub and the Thames Marathon; we expect the return of the Henley Swim Festival in 2027.

We are busy planning the 2026 events, confirming the dates and getting the registration system set up, so please bear with us for a few weeks while we get everything in place. We will let you know as soon as we are ready to accept entries into the 2026 events. For now all you need to do is to put the provisional dates into your diary.

If you were signed up to swim in 2025 you should have received an email from Henley Swim last week - please check your junk if it has not arrived.

The provisional dates are:

• Henley Classic | Sunday 28th June
• Club to Pub | Saturday 25th July
• Thames Marathon | Sunday 9th August
