Amsterdam Ice Swim, NK IJszwemmen en IISA world Cup event

ISA Nederland organiseert dit seizoen de Nederlandse Kampioenschappen IJszwemmen in samenwerking met de Amsterdam Ice Swim. Op zaterdag 13 en zondag 14 december 2025.
Waar: Outdoor en Watersportcentrum Natuurspeelplaats Jeugdland, Valentijnkade 131, 1095 KH Amsterdam, Het thuisterrein van de Amsterdam Ice Swim, zal het strijdtoneel worden voor de Nederlandse Kampioenschappen*. Ook maakt de Amsterdam Ice Swim deel uit van de IISA Worldcup.

This past weekend (December 14 and 15, 2024), the Amsterdam Ice Swim brought together ice swimming enthusiasts from around the world for an unforgettable event in the heart of Amsterdam.

It all started with Fergil Hesterman's vision to share his passion for ice swimming through events like this one in the Netherlands. What began in 2017 with 75 swimmers has grown into a vibrant community of nearly 200 participants, demonstrating the remarkable growth of ice swimming as a sport and lifestyle.

Held at Natuurspeeltuin Jeugdland, swimmers braved the chilly waters in events ranging from 50m sprints to the challenging 1000m. The serene and beautiful setting was filled with the energy of cheers and camaraderie from swimmers and spectators alike.
